1. About this policy

FileSubmit is a local photo conversion app provided by the developer identified on its App Store product page. This policy explains the information handled by version 1.0 and the FileSubmit policy website. The app opens the public policy page in Apple’s in-app Safari browser.

2. Photos and files you choose

FileSubmit reads the images you select through Apple’s photo picker or the Files picker, including pixels, file type, pixel dimensions, file size and the metadata needed to interpret the image. It uses this information only to prepare your JPG, PNG or PDF exports. Your original photos and files are not modified.

Photo conversion happens on your device. FileSubmit does not upload your images or exported files to a developer server. Exports are rebuilt from image pixels and do not copy the original GPS metadata; this does not remove private information that is visibly present in a photo.

You can also send selected images through the iOS share-sheet FileSubmit action or an Apple Shortcuts action. These entries use the same local conversion engine. The shortcut returns a JPG copy at the original pixel dimensions and does not automatically save it to Photos.

3. Permissions and your choices

The system photo picker gives the app access to the items you choose; it does not require access to your entire photo library. File access is limited to the documents you select.

Only when you choose Save to Photos does FileSubmit request permission to add images to your photo library. You can refuse or revoke that permission in iOS Settings and still use Save to Files or Share. The app does not request your contacts, microphone, camera or device location.

4. Working copies, retention and deletion

Selected images and generated exports are copied to temporary working folders in the app’s cache. They remain available while you preview, save or share. When a new work session starts, the app removes work sessions more than seven days old; iOS may remove cached files earlier. This is not a permanent file library.

Removing an image from the current selection removes it from the task; its cached working copy may remain until cache cleanup. Deleting the app removes its local container under iOS’s normal behavior. Offloading the app is different from deleting it.

Files you save to Photos, Files, iCloud Drive or another provider are outside this temporary cache. Manage or delete those copies in the destination app. We cannot recall files you have already shared.

The system action extension has its own temporary working container. Input copies are cleared when you close or cancel its task; exported working files are retained temporarily so a save or share destination can finish reading them. The Shortcuts action clears its own working directory after creating the returned file; Apple Shortcuts manages the returned result and any copies you choose to save.

5. Language preferences

The app stores your selected language on your device using app-specific preferences. This preference is not sent to the developer. The app has no user account or developer-operated cloud synchronization. Apple’s device backup and cloud services are governed by your device settings and Apple’s policies.

6. Advertising, analytics and third parties

Version 1.0 has no advertising, tracking, third-party analytics SDK, subscription or in-app purchase. FileSubmit does not sell your photos or build advertising profiles.

Apple’s pickers and photo library, iCloud downloads, document providers and share destinations operate under their own policies. An iCloud original may need a network download. If you choose a cloud folder or a share recipient, the destination may transfer and process that file. Apple may supply platform diagnostics according to your device settings; FileSubmit does not add its own analytics upload.

7. Visiting the policy website

The native photo conversion workflow has no advertising or analytics SDK. These website pages are hosted on dayrune.com and include the site’s Baidu analytics script. Visiting a page can send the page address, browser/device information and related visit or cookie information to the website host and analytics provider. These services may also receive your IP address as part of normal network requests.

FileSubmit does not attach selected photos, filenames or export contents to a policy URL. Website analytics is separate from local image processing. You can restrict website cookies and tracking through your browser’s privacy controls.

8. Contact and updates

For privacy questions or requests, email onefish857@gmail.com. If you contact us, we use the information you voluntarily send to respond to your request and retain it only as needed for that correspondence and applicable requirements. Email delivery is handled by the mail providers you and we use. Please do not attach private original photos.

There is no developer-held photo account to delete because photo processing stays on your device. We will update this policy if the app’s data practices change, showing the updated date.
