BabyBook 简体中文

Privacy Policy

Updated and effective: November 6, 2026

1. Scope and contact

This policy covers the current BabyBook Chinese classics reading trial provided by 长沙向翎科技有限公司. Contact onefish857@gmail.com for support, privacy or child-related information requests. BabyBook is the current trial name. This policy describes available features, not future accounts, cloud synchronization or online voice services.

2. Reading data on your device

The app stores its bundled books, saved characters and their source passages, collection dates, reading positions, display preferences and operation-hint status in its app-specific device storage. These records restore reading, share a character mark across passages and adjust the display. They do not create an online child profile or assess which characters a child has mastered. If a record cannot be read, the app may preserve a local copy to avoid overwriting it.

The current app does not require an account or a child's name, birth date, school, photos, voice or location. It does not send vocabulary or reading records to our servers. It has no advertising, behavioral analytics SDK, public leaderboard or in-app purchases. We do not sell these learning records or use them for targeted advertising.

3. System pronunciation and permissions

When you choose to hear a character, the app passes it to iOS speech synthesis. The app does not record audio, request microphone permission or call online voice-model APIs such as MiMo or Qwen. Voice availability, system-resource downloads and Apple's system services are governed by device settings and applicable Apple policies; this is not a promise that the operating system never uses a network.

Current features do not request photo-library, camera, contacts, location or tracking permissions. If relevant features are added, we will explain their purposes and request any necessary authorization when needed.

4. Storage, system backups and deletion

Records remain in device storage; we currently provide no account synchronization or server backup. Depending on your or a guardian's settings, iOS, iCloud or computer device backups may include app data and are managed by those systems and services.

You can remove a saved character from a word card, the character view or the vocabulary list. Replaying operation hints resets only hint status. To remove all local app data, use Delete App in iOS; Offload App may keep documents and data. Manage backup copies separately in the relevant backup service. We have no server copy of these local records and cannot remotely read or restore them.

5. Children and guardians

The product supports children's character learning and shared family reading. Guardians should guide use and device-backup settings as appropriate. The app does not ask children to provide identity details or create networked learning profiles. Guardians can help review or remove local records or delete app data.

A guardian can contact onefish857@gmail.com about a child's information and should provide only what is needed to investigate. A child's name, school, photos, recordings or full vocabulary history are not required. Before adding any network processing of children's personal information, we will update specific notices and implement any legally required guardian information, consent and safeguards; this policy does not authorize such future processing in advance.

6. Public pages and voluntary support

Only when you open a legal or support link does the system browser visit the public website. These BabyBook pages do not load advertising or behavioral analytics scripts and do not read or upload vocabulary or reading records. Hosting servers may process the IP address, access time, requested path and browser information necessary to serve and secure pages. Routine origin logs rotate daily with ten historical files, normally about eleven days, except where legal obligations or security incidents require further retention; they are not linked to learning records. Pages use same-origin styles, icons and similar resources. Other websites you choose to visit have their own policies.

If you send a support email, we and the relevant mail services process your email address, message and voluntary attachments to respond and handle necessary follow-up, retaining them only as needed for the request and applicable requirements. Do not include unnecessary child information. Diagnostics provided by the operating system or distribution platform follow the platform's own settings and notices.

7. Security, updates and requests

We do not ask for passwords by email or require uploading your vocabulary to use current reading features. Protect access to your device and backups. Contact onefish857@gmail.com to report unnecessary information received by us or request access, correction or deletion of support correspondence; we will verify and handle the request under applicable requirements.

We update this policy and its date when processing materially changes and provide any required notices and consent in the relevant feature. A website edit alone does not activate an account, synchronization or online-processing feature.
